This piece is under two inches tall and was cut from black stone. It is a result of a one year effort to try and master the medium, which actually ended up concluding by finally letting the textures and grains dictate which way they actually wanted my hands to shape their inner beauty.

I started this sculpture for myself as an exercise in learning to control the shape of details, it ended up as a mutually yielding dedication of love.
