Like most of my computer air brush works, this one started as a CAD drawing, which is basically a Computer Assisted Drafting program.

I drew this rider back in the mid eighties, when I first graduated from drafting with pencil and ink to computer and have altered it to suit a few of my works. The original cad drawing, as drawn with wings but without the tribute, can be seen in "Winged Rider".

I do have two actual air brushes, one sprays from 1 inch to 3 (25mm to 75mm) the other from 1/16 inch to a 1/2 (1.5mm to 12mm) but I find computer air brush work much more relaxing, not to mention their are no fumes and nothing to clean.

I can also save the work at different levels of completion and probably the most relaxing part is if I don't like something I did, I can re-do without having to start all over again from the beginning if I don't want to.

As you can see I signed this one on both feet, one in a reverse. I made this for use as a wallpaper and so it can be mirrored to better fit how you set up your computer icons. Like with any of my published works, please feel free to do me the honors and use them for your private use.

Some say computerized airbrush works are not real art but I would have to ask is digital photography any less real than film? They are just different media to work with and each have their own appeal to the artist and the viewer, so I'll simply finish this point by saying what ever you like, it's yours to enjoy!
